The profound central core of Dante's thinking has withstood the passage of time.

His reflections on the fundamental questions of ethics (liberty, justice) and politics (the state, the church, the individual) continue to be relevant to the themes of contemporary debate, although their relevance is not always recognised and acknowledged.

In these "impossible interviews" we have tried to find a contemporary perspective in Dante's thinking. A figure from the modern world will "interview" Dante and put a series of questions to him on a specific topic. Dante will "answer" the questions by quoting from or referring to his works.
